1. Once an item is rented, it is under your care. The renter will be responsible to cover the cost of any damage, destruction, or loss beyond normal wear and tear. Motia reserves the right to evaluate damages beyond normal wear and tear. 

2. In the event of loss or destruction of the garment, a fee of the original sale price (the price the garment was purchased by Motia) will be charged to the renter.

3. All sales/rental deposits are non-refundable.

3. Late returns are subjected to a $15 per item per day fee.

4. Please refrain from spraying perfume directly on the garment, avoid using lotions that may stain the garment. When wearing makeup, please ensure there is no or minimal transfer onto the garment, excess makeup stains will be subjected to a charge as determined by our team.

5. Absolutely NO alterations are permitted to any of our garments, we provide measurements on our website please ensure the garment will fit before you rent.

6. Unreturned garments after 7 days of the return date will be noted as theft and charged the full original price. It will also result in the individual being denied future rentals.

7. Do not dry clean any Motia garments. Motia covers the cost of dry cleaning and to ensure consistent sanitization of our products we dry clean each product after use.

8. Please note, we are a sustainable brand and our garments have been worn before. We take care to ensure the garments are in excellent condition and thoroughly cleaned but there may be some signs of wear. We cannot guarantee the like-new condition of all our garments.

9. All rental payments, are considered final payments and are non-refundable.
